Roadways in the US
I was always a big fan of the Sunday drive. I love just getting out in the car and taking a road less traveled and seeing where it brings me.
I have taken a cross country road trip in the car traveling to CA through the middle of the US and back to the east coast through routes in the south. I’ve always been interested in how the US is connected through the miles of pavement. I found this interesting infographic from the team at Titlemax that shows which states have the most miles of roadway.
While Texas has the most miles of road and that makes sense because it is the largest state in our country, it is actually North Dakota and South Dakota that have the most miles per person , 0.240 and 0.188 lane miles per person respectively.
