My dad has always been a huge advocate for solar energy. Our house was the first house with solar panels and I distinctly remember him talking to all the other parents at my softball game about the costs and benefits.
When I purchased our first home with my husband I knew we would be putting solar panels on the roof. I also knew that we should start investing in the stock market. Knowing nothing about it I went to my dad for advice.
